true-cut or rocaille:
True-cut beads have one flat side on the bead.
Roccailles are all the way round, but they can have a square hole. With a contoured colour (bead is transparent, onlly the inside of the bead is coloured), it will give you the glare which looks like a 3-cut bead.

Charlotte shaped beads
The rumour has it, that the inventor of this bead named it after his daughter Charlotte. Each bead has a facet to produce more brilliance. Charlotte cut ater only available in size 13`sand bead. Each different size bead in this form is technical called a "true Cut" bead.
